Cosmos H100 includes 2-7 robotic (computer-controllable pan/tilt/zoom) hi-def cameras and full hi-definition Datavideo SE-2000 or SE-3000 switcher/mixer. By choosing Cosmos H100 you get top quality Sony HD cameras and full HD-SDI production with the Datavideo SE-2000 or SE-3000 HD-SDI system. These HD-SDI cameras (our Cosmos H100 systems include the HD-SDI outputs required for the cameras as used in the Cosmos H100 systems) also support RS232 (COM port) or RS422 control from your PC running our full-featured CosmosH100 camera control software.
The Sony EVI-H100S camera has HD-SDI output with 1080i, 1080p, and 720p output (user-selectable in either 50fps or 59.94fps scan rates). With Sony's newest Exmoor CMOS image sensor you get sharp crisp HD video quality, and the camera has a wide angle view with 20X optical zoom. Based on the proven Sony pan/tilt/zoom technology, the EVI-H100S has a 340-degree panning range and 110 degree tilt range. It's also small (1.55kg weight, 145 x 164 x 164 mm size) and has the control features you want for a high quality, yet economical, true HD Cosmos H100 system.

DataVideo's fully HD SE-2000 5-source switcher has inputs for up to 5 HD sources (3 or 4 HD-SDI + 1 or 2 DVI-D) and 4 balanced audio inputs, with 2 HD-SDI outputs and 2 balanced audio outputs. Three video inputs are HD-SDI, one is DVI-D, and one is user-selectable as either HD-SDI or DVI-D. It's easy to set up as many as 4 HD-SDI cameras and also have a PC graphics DVI-D input for a flexible multi-purpose HD production. With a HD-SDI/DVI-D converter you can even have up to 5 cams. You have a complete HD-SDI system, with two HD-SDI outputs and a DVI-D 'multi-view' monitoring output (we include a 17" LED-backlit LCD multi-view monitor, see below). The SE-2000 switcher is a proven winner that handles all the inputs and lets you switch smoothly from one video source to another using wipes, fades, and other effects. Datavideo's SE-2000 switcher has a DVI input for the fifth source coming from a computer graphics card DVI ouput. It's a full broadcast-quality HD multi-camera portable desktop video capability for your church, conference room, or other 'studio' environment (with built-in frame-sync on all channels). And Cosmos H1 lets you integrate the flexible power of the SE-2000 with advanced computer-control of robotic HD-SDI cameras for a compact studio centered on a single PC or laptop. The SE-2000 can output to your flat screen or projector HD-SDI devices - so you have real HD from cameras all the way through to your display. If your display uses DVI or other HD input connectors, we will configure an optional converter to get you the right combination for your system.

It's easy to set up as many as 7 HD-SDI cameras and also have a PC graphics input, all on the basic SE-3000-8 for a flexible multi-purpose HD production. The SE-3000 switcher is a proven winner that handles all the inputs and lets you switch smoothly from one video source to another using wipes, fades, advanced digital effects, multiple keying sources and built-in still-store. The whole SE-3000 is configurable using its own touch-screen and you have an amazingly flexible and powerful system with 8 HD-SDI inputs and optional extra inputs for legacy sources that get up-converted to HD and all SE-3000s are designe for operation using one or two multi-view monitors.

You can use any combination of 8 of the inputs to set up as many as 7 HD cameras and a PC graphics input, or even leverage existing standard-def cameras, DVD players, and related equipment. Accompanying the SE-2000 or SE-3000 switcher is DataVideo's 17" HD-SDI LED-backlit LCD monitor. The LCD displays all video source and output signals for simultaneous view (multi-view). This monitor has 2 HDMI, VGA, YUV (component), S-video, and 2 composite video inputs - all user selectable, and selectable SD or HD aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9). You can use it for all your display monitor needs and it's perfect as the multi-view display for all Cosmos HD-SDI hi-def systems.
Our Roland V800HD systems can include the Datavideo 17" LCD multi-view monitor as an option.
Tying together the whole package is the software heart of the Cosmos H100 system: the Cosmos software package (for Windows PCs). Cosmos software gives you detailed direct camera positioning (pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and more), preset-positions, and video settings (white balance, backlight, brightness) for the robotic cameras. And the Cosmos software also communicates with the SE-2000 or SE-3000 switcher to allow direct operation of switcher functions from one software GUI. With this powerful package of software you can control all your cameras individually and switch video sources on the SE-2000 or SE-3000.
Cosmos is an invaluable integration of camera-control with switcher operations for use with live production setups like small studios, churches, meeting rooms, and more. Cosmos H100 adds a Windows-desktop software control system for multiple robotic video cameras to the Datavideo SE-2000 or SE-3000 studio quality HD mixer/switcher.
