1. Be sure you have the DVD-V7400 set to 4800 baud
This is the out-of-the-box setting. If you've changed it using
on-screen menus, then XDVD can't communicate with the V7400.

2. Be sure you have the DVD-V7400 configured to accept RS232 control
If you've used on-screen menus to block computer control,
	XDVD can't work.

3. Be sure you have edited the Settings.txt file so the correct COM
port is indicated - the COM port you are using to connect to the
	DVD-V7400.

4. Be sure you have edited the Settings.txt file so the correct DVD
Title # is indicated (e.g. Title=2 if you want the program to
start to operate on Title #2).

5. Be sure to read the documentation on the Settings.txt file and the
meanings of its settings. The documentation is in the
Settings.txt file itself, below the lines of actuall editable
	user settings.

6. If you don't see timecode display check (see the DVD player manual)
that the DVD Title you are playing actually *has* time code.
XDVD can't show time code unless it is there in the DVD Title.
XDVD will display a little red 'tick' above the timecode area
if it can't detect time code in a particular title.
