NEW! FASTER TIME CODES AND TIMECODES MAGICALLY GO INTO YOUR CLIPBOARD
A new, updated, and improved version is now here, so if you downloaded XVCRDEMO.ZIP prior to 1/17/2000, download the new XVCRDEMO.ZIP and replace your XVCR.exe file. The new, improved version has much faster timecode updating and also continuously puts the most recent timecode into the system clipboard so you can paste them into your favorite text-compatible applications (wordprocessing, notepad, etc.) on the fly with the usual 'CTRL-V' keyboard combination that most text-compatible applications support. Thanks to Eli Shmotkin for the clipboard suggestion. Note that because XVCR is grabbing time codes quickly and stuffing them into the clipboard one after another as fast as it can, you may wish to shut off XVCR to use your clipboard for other needs.

The full unlimited-time version of XVCR is only $149.95 for Pentium-Win95/98/NT/2K/XP computers. Mastercard/Visa accepted. To order XVCR, just call Videobotics - 805 349 1104 (10AM to 5PM, California time zone)
VCR hookup cable for 9-pin RS422 VCR - $50.
VCR hookup adapter for LANC/Control-L - $150.
VCR hookup adapter for Panasonic AJD230 - $150.

A network-able VCR control program with tape logging features even from a remote networked system is also available: Link'nLog. With Link'nLog, you can perform all the XVCR controls from your own computer connected to a VCR, but someone running the Link'nLog network extensions can access your VCR over any TCP/IP network (including the Internet). With Link'nLog, you can share your videos over the net and let your associates and friends review your work and set up EDLs over the internet! The full network-access Link'nLog version is only $299.95 for Pentium-Win95/98/NT/2K/XP computers. Shipping in USA is $6.50. Credit cards accepted. Ordering Link'nLog is easy - just call Videobotics, 805 349 1104 (10AM to 5PM, California time zone)

You can hook up 9-pin-standard professional decks (BetaCAM, DSR80, etc.) to your PC COM port with an RS232-to-RS422 adapter ($50). We also have adapters to hook up some other types of VCRS (Sony/Canon LANC, Panasonic AJD230, Sony UVW1200, Sony UVW1400 - $150 each). If you are unsure, ask your VCR's manufacturer if your VCR complies with the world-wide standard 9-pin RS422 control system.
